What to Expect
In honor of May Day, we will be coming together to celebrate all the hard work our local unions, and workers do to keep this state running. Without the working-class, we would not have any of the comforts and services that make our communities function each day. From the roads we drive on, to the schools we attend, to the hospitals, grocery stores, and public services that support daily life, the working-class is what keeps our society afloat. This event is intended to give workers the recognition they deserve!
The gathering will be a peaceful, family-friendly event organized to bring together union members, workers, community organizations, and residents for a night of celebration and solidarity. The program will include speeches from local labor leaders, community organizers, and workers who wish to share their experiences and highlight the contributions of organized labor in our region.
